At HeadshotPhoto.io, we work hard to deliver high-quality, realistic, and professional AI-generated headshots — the kind you'd be proud to use on LinkedIn or anywhere else.

We know that not every image will be perfect (hey, it’s AI, not magic), but we’re confident that you’ll get at least one profile-worthy headshot. Still, if things don’t go as expected, this policy outlines how refunds work, when they apply, and what conditions may limit eligibility.

When You Can Request a Refund

You may be eligible for a full or partial refund if:

1. You didn’t receive your order

  • You didn’t get your headshots within our delivery window (10 hours), and it wasn't due to image input issues or manual review delays.
  • There was a system error that caused your order to fail.

2. There was a payment issue

  • You were accidentally charged more than once.
  • The amount charged was incorrect due to a technical glitch.

3. We couldn’t complete your order

  • Your images couldn't be processed due to internal errors or system failures.
  • The AI was unable to generate usable results, and you did not download any images.

When Refunds Won’t Be Issued

To be fair to both parties, refunds will not be granted in the following cases:

  • Downloaded images: If you’ve downloaded even one image from your order, it is considered fulfilled and is non-refundable.
  • Photo guidelines not followed: Blurry, low-resolution, overexposed/underexposed photos, photos with filters, sunglasses, hats, multiple people, or extreme facial angles can lead to subpar results and disqualify refund eligibility.
  • Subjective dissatisfaction: Refunds are not offered for preferences like hairstyle, clothing, background style, pose, or lighting unless a technical error is evident. However, we do provide editing credits for background, clothing, image expanding and upscaling.
  • Use of editing credits: See section below.

Edited Images = Partial Refund

If you used the complimentary editing credits provided with your plan — such as background changes or retouching — but have not downloaded any images yet:

  • A 30% deduction will apply to your refund to account for services already rendered.
  • Edited photos still involve resource usage and manual processing, even if not downloaded.

Before You Blame the AI — Check Your Photos

Our AI is only as good as the images you upload. For the best results and refund eligibility, make sure your photos meet these guidelines:

  • Upload 8 selfies, preferably chest-up or half-body
  • Vary your angles, backgrounds, and facial expressions
  • Use natural lighting, no harsh shadows
  • Avoid group photos, filters, hats, sunglasses, heavy makeup
  • Look at the camera (no side profiles only)

If your input images don’t follow these tips, results may vary - and unfortunately, refunds won't be approved in such cases.

How to Request a Refund

If you believe you're eligible for a refund, we’re happy to review your request.

Please contact us within 7 days of receiving your completed order.

  • Go to the Support section
  • Submit a message with your refund request

What Happens Next?

  • Your request will be reviewed within 3 business days.
  • If approved, the refund will be processed to your original payment method within 3-5 business days.
